GETTING THERE/AWAY

AIR
Dalaman International Airport is situated to the west of Fethiye and is a 1hr 15minute drive from Kayaköy. Domestic flights fly daily to/from Istanbul and Ankara all year round.
From the UK, charter flights fly direct from regional airports during the holiday season May-end of October. A limited service continues through the winter from Gatwick and Manchester.
There are also charter flights to/from most European countries during the summer holiday season.
From the main Fethiye bus station (otogar) an airport shuttle (Havaş) is available.
Taxis and private transfers are also available.

BUS
From Fethiye overnight buses run to Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir every evening. There are also services to most major cities in Turkey.
Regional buses run regular services to Muğla, Bodrum, Marmaris, Antalya and Kaş throughout the day.
In Fethiye there is a 'dolmuş' minibus station situated close to the fish market and behind the main mosque. Minibuses run on the hour to Kayaköy past the front of the main bus station (outside Carrefour Supermarket) and via Ovacik/Hisarönü. This service runs all the way to Gemiler beach through the summer and turns round in the village (on the hour) during the winter.

TAXI
Taxi services to/from Fethiye, airport, Öludeniz etc. are available from everywhere.

CAR
There are two route to the village from Fethiye(8km), one turns right from the towns' one way system past the rock tombs of Telmessos. The other turns right through Hisarönü from the Ölüdeniz road, both routes are signposted
